Quarterly Board Meetings
KFAPA meetings are open to the public. Anyone interested in the child welfare system of the state of Kansas is invited to attend. Copies of the bylaws and meeting minutes are available on our website. They may also be obtained by contacting KFAPA at PO Box, 273, Canton, KS 67428.
Parent Summit
KFAPA is
hosting a Parent Summit on October 1, 2011. This is an invitation only
event where placement agencies, families and others in the Child Welfare
System of Kansas sit down to discuss strengths and gaps in the system
and make recommendations for improvement. The following four areas will
be reviewed: the child welfare team, the court system, training, and
system strengths and gaps.
